Finally got around to finishing the GHQ Tigers. It’s kinda too bad I don’t play WWII, I’m pretty happy with how these came out.
Camouflage was airbrushed using the amazing Badger Sotar 20/20 airbrush.
The therapeutic power of a hobby is amazing. I have been so busy with work for the last few months I have not touched any Micro Armor in as long. Just taking a few minutes tonight to throw a little paint (first of three colors) on a few minis made me feel good and remember why I do this. Next step (probably tomorrow) is to apply the camouflage colors, this is will be a good job for my new Sotar 20/20 airbrush.
I’ll just leave these photos here with no explanation …. I know, such a tease.
Trial run for our big Thunder Run game scheduled for tomorrow night. Tonight we had three players and we had a great time. Two guys ran the Iraqi forces and one guy ran the Americans. The Americans were outnumbered two to one and got their asses handed to them but they made a great effort. The entire exchange lasted about 7 turns and tool a little over two hours to play. Tomorrows game should have at least 6 players and take 4 or 5 hours.
Sometimes I dig around in boxes in the shop and I find old minis that I nearly forgot all about. Here are three boxes of Micro Armor from sometime in the mid to late 1980’s
